This Modern House is Clad in Black and Feels Like Part of the Russian Forest

Tucked away in a Russian forest, Colina House has a design that was inspired by the dark and dramatic topography that surrounds it. The architecture is built into the hill, becoming an integral part of the landscape and featuring its ain peaks and points.

Designed by Horomystudio, the 284-square-meter firm follows the gradient of the colina, with the bottom level becoming an extension of the mountainside. To blend information technology with the forest, the architects chose to use local natural materials, in detail the unique blackness rock that covers the exterior.
